A Grand Day Out in Wolverhampton

Birmingham IA had a very busy day at The Pavillions, the old social club for the Goodyear Tyre factory, in Wolverhampton on Wednesday 23rd August. We were invited to attend an event arranged by Raj, lead SN from  Wolverhampton New Cross Hospital. Wolverhampton patients had the chance to meet their Stoma Nurses and to look at the range of supplies offered by twelve different suppliers. Birmingham IA Committee members Bogusha Bury, Kal Manotta and Andy Greenway were there representing Birmingham IA, talking to patients and raising awareness of IA and what the organisation offers for ostomists and Internal Pouch patients. Andy said that it was an incredibly busy day and that they had met a lot of interesting people, including some of Birmingham IA’s Wolverhampton members.
