Our first Saturday Social of 2024

Our first Saturday Social of 2024

On Saturday 10th February 2024, sixteen members met at the Ecumenical Centre in Redditch  for our first Saturday Social of the year. This is a great venue for us and as always, the welcome was warm: we were even treated to freshly made doughnuts!

Mike introduced Keith Kightley, Birmingham IA's London Landmark's Half-Marathon Walker. We are all impressed by Keith's commitment to his training for this cause.

We talked about all things surgical and issues which were concerning members. Mike Jameson shared the latest news on the forthcoming Birmingham IA Information Day on 11th May at Voco St John's Hotel in Solihull. The programme is almost finalised now. We have some fantastic speakers and full details will be circulated soon to everyone.  Solihull should be a much more convenient venue for our Redditch members and we're looking forward to seeing everyone there.
