We were delighted by the kindness of a group of pupils from Birmingham University school earlier this month.
A group of students, helped by one of the Maths teachers from Birmingham University School, set up a sewing group to help people in the Community. They offered to make bag covers for ostomists and Birmingham IA members are the lucky recipients. The bags are very stylish and come in a range of vibrant colours. and the quality of the work is excellent. Mike Jameson went to the school to collect the bags and meet the students on 14th July 2023. The members at the July Halesowen coffee morning were the first ones to see the bags and the response was very enthusiastic.
We are very grateful to all of those kind students and their teacher who gave up their time to work on this project. The bags will be greatly appreciated by Birmingham IA members, particularly in these warm summer months.
