We were delighted when Birmingham IA's new President, Miss Melissa Cunha, joined us for a Zoom meeting on 4th Oct to talk about High Output Stomas and Hydration. Miss Cunha is committed to patient education and was keen to share her professional expertise with Birmingham IA members on this very important topic. This was a great opportunity for us to learn more about our condition and how to maximise our health and we were grateful for the extended Question and Answer session which followed her presentation. We are fortunate to have Miss Cunha as our new President, given her demanding role as a Colorectal surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth hospital.
